The Journey of Sorrows (Novel)

Kezia is an outcast – by blood and by her scar (what she did to herself, so they say). She’s not blessed by the Guardians, and has no desire to be. If she was, all she’d have to look forward to is a steep descent into madness, as anyone “blessed” must burn their memories to maintain the holy connection.

Finding no reason to stay with a people shackled to the Journey of Sorrows, she decides to run. But since a gruesome death takes place at the time of her departure, Kezia is forced into an investigation that just may give her the key to her freedom. If she can survive long enough.
